Rachelle Lefevre suing Summit Entertainment for Eclipse RECASTING

Twilight actress Rachelle Lefevre is reportedly filing a lawsuit against Summit Entertainment for recasting her role in the third film Eclipse.

Earlier this week, Summit announced that Bryce Dallas Howard would be replacing Lefevre, who they claimed could not resume her role as Victoria due to scheduling conflicts with her film Barney’s Version. Yesterday, Lefevre spoke out saying she is “stunned and hurt” her role was recast. She insists she had every intention of fulfilling her role.

An insider says the Twilight cast, including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, are “devastated” Lefevre was fired but fear they will be too if they protest.

Neither Lefevre nor Summit has commented on the reports.

RPattz argues over eclipse script

Robert Pattinson admits as to how much The Twilight Saga has captured him in its grip during the New Moon press conference at the 2009 San Diego Comic Con on 23 July 2009 by revealing how he finds himself doing something out of character.

“I’ve kind of gotten more and more attached to [The Twilight Saga]. I’ve been talking about the script for Eclipse to people over the last few weeks, and I find myself getting very argumentative, which I’m not usually. I don’t know. It definitely has some kind of power.”

The Twilight Saga Eclipse will start shooting mid-August in Vancouver. Director David Slade regularly updates Twilighters via his twitter account regarding the status of his pre-production work.

Actress Rachelle Lefevre Will Be Replaced By Howard In The Role Of Victoria

Los Angeles – July 28, 2009 – Summit Entertainment announced today that Bryce Dallas Howard will take over the role of “Victoria” in the studio’s upcoming production of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. Actress, Rachelle Lefevre, who portrayed the character in TWILIGHT as well as the upcoming release of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, will not continue in the role due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment the actor has made. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE will start filming in Vancouver this coming August.

THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, the third film in the studio’s TWILIGHT film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer’s blockbuster book series, will be directed by David Slade from a screenplay written by Melissa Rosenberg. The film will be released theatrically in North America on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

“We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise,” said Erik Feig, Summit’s President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions. “Rachelle brought “Victoria” to great screen life and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character. The franchise is lucky to have such a talented actress as Bryce coming in to fill the role.”

Howard most recently starred in TERMINATOR SALVATION as Kate Connor and has been seen in SPIDER-MAN 3, LADY IN THE WATER, and THE VILLAGE. She was nominated for a Golden Globe for her leading performance as an actress in the HBO film AS YOU LIKE IT.

In THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.

It’s the news at least 50 per cent of Twilight’s adoring fans wanted to hear: Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are officially in love.

To the other 50 per cent - who fancy their chances with the sexy vampire, themselves - here is the bad news: the 23-year-old has admitted he fancied Kristen before he even met her.

Talking about receiving the ’Twilight’ script for the first time, the brooding Brit said: “I barely knew they were books so I had no idea what I was letting myself in for. The only reason I went to the audition was to see Kristen because I had just seen ‘Into The Wild’. Of course I had a little crush on her.”

He goes on: “I definitely had a thing with Kristen. Your first impulse is to ask for her number.” Gulp.

Sharing the love, 19-year-old K-Stew gushed: “He always looks like he’s thinking about something. And he’s quite witty. So he’s pretty sexy.”

And if you wanted more proof, an insider on the set of ’Twilight: New Moon’ told Famous magazine: “They just can’t keep it to themselves. They want to shout it from the rooftops. What you see on screen during the kissing scenes is absolutely real. They couldn’t create that kind of tension if they weren’t in love.”

Is there a real romance brewing between RPattz and KStew?!?

Much was made about the allegedly awkward interactions between Robert Pattinson, 23, and Kristen Stewart, 19, at the Twilight press conference and discussion panel at Comic-Con last Thursday in San Diego. Ted Casablance at E! Online reported that the studio is asking the rumored couple to stay apart in public. Seems that Summit would like fans to get used to the idea of Stewart with Taylor Lautner, 17, who will reprise his role as Jacob Black in the forthcoming New Moon, and will also start vying for the love of Stewart's character, Bella Swan. Well, in case you Robsten fans were worried, Ted reports today that the two were able to find time to be together after all - without the prying eyes of the public feasting upon their every move.

Last Thursday, Ted said "There was some unexplained tension going on between Robsten yesterday, since the real-life couple was entirely separated behind the scenes. Kristen chose to hang with abtastic Taylor Lautner instead." A source deep within the Twilight camp stated to Ted: "Right now, it's all about Taylor and Kristen. People are pushing them together in the media and behind the scenes because the studio knows the whole world is watching all the time. Rob and Kristen? No." The source goes on to say, "Rob's physically almost never in the movie! The relationship between [Taylor and Kristen] is a huge part of the sequel, so fans need to get used to seeing them together. Not Kristen and Rob. That's the way it's going to be."

Or is it? Today, Ted said that on Wednesday night the two Twilight stars were both in the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. Another source told him that: "They were so private. They were hardly seen by anyone. Their people made sure of that. But [Rob and Kristen] were there. They had a secret entrance to the hotel and everything." Furthermore, after Comic-Con the two actors left San Diego and headed to Los Angeles for a weekend before parting ways to finish up filming on their current projects, Stewart's Joan Jett biopic The Runaways and Pattinson's Remember Me.

It seems like a lot of people want to see Twilight come to life through a romance with Stewart and Pattinson. The two do have incredible chemistry but it is possible that they're just friends after all. Both are very dedicated to their craft, so a relationship might be on their minds right now. Stewart has been working steadily since she appeared as Jodie Foster's daughter in The Panic Room, whereas Pattinson's rise to fame has been growing since his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire. Of course they will both be filming Eclipse, the third installment of the Twilight Saga, in Vancouver, B.C., beginning in August. Think something might happen once and for all?

Count Ashley Greene among the women who don't have a problem with laying a wet one on Kellan Lutz.
Celebuzz caught up with the Twilight siren at this year's Comic-Con and asked her about her upcoming film Warrior, in which she swaps spit with her Twilight co-star Lutz.
Given that the two play siblings in the Twilight saga, was it awkward or icky at all to kiss her onscreen brother for Warrior?
"No, it wasn't, because Kellan and I know each other so well, it was kind of a no-brainer. And again, we've already got this kind of chemistry, so no it wasn't hard at all," Greene told us. "I was kind of wondering about that because he is one of my very close friends, and we definitely have a platonic relationship, so playing romantic, I was wondering if it was going to be hard or easier, but because we are already so comfortable with each other it was actually less awkward than kissing someone I didn't know."
So there you have it: Kissing Kellan Lutz is a no-brainer.
And in case you missed this other salient part of Greene's reply, she revealed that she and Lutz, contrary to what the rumor mill might have said in the past, have a platonic relationship. You're welcome, ladies.

I've never seen this pic before! It's obviously ages old, but could it be that Nikki and Rob were arguing over his feelings for Kristen? When honesty is always the best policy, maybe Nikki couldn't handle the truth! Just a thought, but this could explain Nikki's alliance with MA before she went MIA! To bad we'll never know!

KStew stressing out

Kristen Stewart is one hardworking babe. First, she's playing nice, putting personal preferences aside for New Moon promotion, and we also hear that the "clever" actress has been put through the ringer on the set of her new flick The Runaways.
After seeing her a bit down at Comic-Con, we were worried about our gal K.Stew. Not only because her hair was a bit too mullet-like for our taste, but her overall demeanor just seemed a tad stressed. No?
We checked in with Deep Twi to see if all was well in the land of Kristen. And to see if Robsten has taken a turn for the worse, like so many of you are bitching about. Check it out:
"People see a 30-second interview of [Kristen and Rob] and think it's easy to judge what's going on between them," sasses our in-the-know Twilight source when we asked what Robsten's deal was on Thursday. "What people don't see is that they have been nonstop for 8 hours before that, doing press after press. [Kristen and Rob] are only human! They're not going to be on their game all the time."
We saw Kristen there and she seemed pretty exhausted. Is she just feeling overworked, or is something more going on there?
The Runaways is a tough project. Joan Jett is one intimidating woman to play. Kristen was really nervous about that. Even though [Joan and Kristen] get along, Joan has one intimidating personality and Kristen doesn't want her to be disappointed. Joan's beautiful and rugged—much like Kristen is. Those girls are very similar, but [the role] has taken a lot out of Kristen recently.
Got it. And one last time—what the hell is going on with Rob and Kristen?
Let's just say where there's smoke, there's fire. That People cover had a hell of a timing. It really stressed everyone out this week. The promotion at Comic-Con was supposed to be very New Moon oriented, not Rob and Kristen oriented. But yeah, there's still something going on there. Everyone knows it.
So there you go, Twi-hards. Don't kill the messenger. As much as we're Team Robsten, we'll tell it to ya like it is. And right now Rob and Kristen are still very much on.

According to one supermarket tabloid, Kristen Stewart was shopping around for a fancy look to impress her rumored crush Robert Pattinson when they were reunited at Comic Con.

And that is what she came up with.

Costar Ashley Greene looked fresh and summery in a pink dress while Kristen stuck with her Joan Jett inspired look with a band tee, skinny jeans, and hightops.

Maybe Rob likes his women tomboyish? If one is to believe the rumors that is!

The handsome, 23-year-old Twilight star, returning to New York's JFK Airport from Southern California (at Comic Con to promote the New Moon film with his cast mates), was approached by a pretty, star struck brunette.

Pattinson -- clad in his trademark Yankees cap, shades and jeans -- stopped to take a picture with the fan, and hugged her before walking away. She looked thrilled.

Pattinson has spent the past few weeks in New York filming the drama Remember Me.

Kristen Stewart wants a baby with Robert Pattinson!

Could they bring on-screen love to real life?

During the Comic-Con panel discussions last week, Kristen Stewart starring as the lead female character, Bella in Twilight andNew Moon, said she can’t wait to get pregnant with Robert’s baby, meaning she’s itching to try on her fake baby for the upcoming movie, third in teh franchise.

Uh, I can’t wait to get pregnant,” she said, giggling when asked what she was most looking forward to in Eclipse.

But was it just movie love the young stars were talking about?

It’s been a while since we first heard the rumor about Robert and Kristen’s off-screen romance. Some tabloids even posted news pieces claiming Stewart was pregnant with Robert’s baby. While these rumors remain to be cleared, some things are obvious - there’s certain chemistry between the two leading stars.

The chemistry is incredible,” Ashley Greene said of the couple.
